Guangzhou International Convention & Exhibition Center
The Guangzhou international convention & exhibition center is the largest exhibition and trading center in China. It is a new landmark and hotspot in Guangzhou.
Xinghai Concert Hall
The Xinghai concert hall is located on beautiful Er Sha Island. It was built in 1988 and has provided an excellent environment for musicians and their audiences for over 20 years. The Xinghai concert hall has a multi-purpose music library and information center. It’s the largest and most advanced concert hall in China.
The Guangzhou Zoo is one of the three largest zoos in China (the other two are Shanghai Wild Animal Zoo and Beijing Zoo). It is situated in the east part of Middle Xian Lie Road. With an area covering over 42 hectares (about 100 acres) and many animal species, it receives about 4 million visitors from all over the world annually. The Guangzhou Zoo now has become a diversified place for animal exhibitions, science education as well as entertainment.
Bai Yun Mountain
Guangzhou Baiyun Mountain (also called White Cloud Mountain) is located north of Guangzhou City. It was named ‘the most beautiful place in the ‘City of Rams’ (Guangzhou’s nickname), and it is also one of the first 4A Grade interest places in China.
The Canton Tower, also named Guangzhou TV and Sightseeing Tower is located near Chi Gang Tower, and is an observation tower in the Haizhu District of Guangzhou. The tower was topped up in 2009 and it became operational on 29th September 2010 just in time for the 2010 Asian Games. The tower briefly held the title of tallest tower in the world, and surpassed the Tokyo Skytree in 2011.
Chimelong Xiangjiang Safari Park
The Chimelong Xiangjiang Safari Park is a national-grade wildlife world with international standards. It is the biggest wild animal theme park in Asia and home to over 460 species and 20,000 rare animals including five pandas, 10 koalas, Honduras anteaters, pygmy hippopotamus, black rhinoceros, white tigers and white lions. Guests are allowed to drive their cars inside the stock area to get a close up view of the wild beasts, which is one of the best ways to observe the animals.
